The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sermet Öztaylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gürhan Uğursay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TÜRK YILDIZI's Sermet Öztaylan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ＯＬＡＣＡĞＩＺ ＤＡ！'s zone, Ali Numan Erbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürhan Uğursay came out of the goal and Ali Numan Erbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dursun Ali Ulunay managed to get in a good position for a shot. ＯＬＡＣＡĞＩＺ ＤＡ！'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dursun Ali Ulunay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seçkin Karadağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dursun Ali Ulunay to make the kick off. When İsmail Cem Suer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ＯＬＡＣＡĞＩＺ ＤＡ！ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Cem Suer couldn't finish the play. 1-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Dursun Ali Ulunay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Sermet Öztaylan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gürhan Uğursay. Sermet Öztaylan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Seçkin Karadağ came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by ＯＬＡＣＡĞＩＺ ＤＡ！'s Dursun Ali Ulunay. But to his dismay, Dursun Ali Ulunay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 74 minutes into the game, Dursun Ali Ulunay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Seçkin Karadağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Suat Ülküsel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Seçkin Karadağ. TÜRK YILDIZI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ali Numan Erbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The referee ignored TÜRK YILDIZI's protests and gave Aktuğ Asalet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Aktuğ Asalet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Cem Suer in the 98th minute of play forced TÜRK YILDIZI's goalkeeper Seçkin Karadağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ＯＬＡＣＡĞＩＺ ＤＡ！ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
