Yıldırım Gencay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağrı Candeğer, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Malkara's Yıldırım Gencay got control of the ball when Kağan Tümkurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yıldırım Gencay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencay Ergüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malkara's Yıldırım Gencay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Malkara from getting a goal against them. Yıldırım Gencay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atahan Sayraç in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Kağan Tümkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Gencay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gencay Ergüner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yıldırım Gencay was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Yıldırım Gencay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencay Ergüner in the 17th minute of the match. Kağan Tümkurt struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Yıldırım Gencay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turkish Youth Academy. In the 24th minute, Atabek Ulukaan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yıldırım Gencay was a little too slow when Kağan Tümkurt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Çağrı Candeğer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Atahan Sayraç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yıldırım Gencay having to make a save. Kağan Tümkurt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Yıldırım Gencay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gencay Ergüner to make the kick off. When Turkish Youth Academy's Gencay Ergüner in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malkara's goalie prevented a goal. Kağan Tümkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Atahan Sayraç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkish Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atahan Sayraç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Turkish Youth Academy's Atahan Sayraç got a free kick in the 64th minute. Atahan Sayraç struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Yıldırım Gencay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turkish Youth Academy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kağan Tümkurt in the 69th minute of play forced Malkara's goalkeeper Yıldırım Gencay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencay Ergüner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Gencay Ergüner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batu Cem İcabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdeniz Atasoy in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Gencay Ergüner notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Malkara's Yıldırım Gencay. Yıldırım Gencay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atahan Sayraç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldırım Gencay having to interfere. Yıldırım Gencay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kağan Tümkurt in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Gencay Ergüner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Turkish Youth Academy booed when Malkara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azmi Başdaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yıldırım Gencay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kağan Tümkurt in the 92nd minute of the match. Çağrı Candeğer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Yıldırım Gencay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Turkish Youth Academy had played much better football throughout.
