Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baran Alp Dersu started the match with the kick off. Teoman Durdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hacı Ali Öztarhan having to interfere. Erzurumspor's Hacı Ali Öztarhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Durdu in the 17th minute of play. Hacı Ali Öztarhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teoman Durdu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ahmet İlhan Murtaza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Samandagi's Niyazi Sarih. Niyazi Sarih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meriç Akalıns short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Hacı Ali Öztarhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Samandagi's Niyazi Sarih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Alp Dersu in the 27th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Tanju Bozok who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samandagi's Niyazi Sarih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Erzurumspor's Hacı Ali Öztarhan got control of the ball when Meriç Akalın tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 30 in the game by Meriç Akalın from a close distance when the talented Hacı Ali Öztarhan managed to make a qualified save. Erzurumspor's players were relieved. 34 minutes into the match, Erzurumspor's Baran Alp Dersu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niyazi Sarih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Baran Alp Dersu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erzurumspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Alp Dersu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niyazi Sarih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Erzurumspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Samandagi's Meriç Akalın got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hacı Ali Öztarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teoman Durdu in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teoman Durdu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Teoman Durdu made a precise shot to the right of Hacı Ali Öztarhan. Erzurumspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Meriç Akalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hacı Ali Öztarhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hacı Ali Öztarhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meriç Akalın in the 66th minute of the match. If Teoman Durdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teoman Durdu in the 67th minute of play forced Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Hacı Ali Öztarhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Baran Alp Dersu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niyazi Sarih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Baybars Nazır hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Teoman Durdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hacı Ali Öztarhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Meriç Akalın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzurumspor's Hacı Ali Öztarhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Erzurumspor's Nafiz Türemen got a free kick in the 77th minute. Yağızhan Diclehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hacı Ali Öztarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meriç Akalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teoman Durdu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hacı Ali Öztarhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Erzurumspor's goal looked a bit too open when Meriç Akalın came free, but Hacı Ali Öztarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hacı Ali Öztarhan came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Samandagi's Arda Baybars Nazır. But to his dismay, Arda Baybars Nazır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ali Asım Saner's late challenge caught a Erzurumspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Asım Saner helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Asım Saner hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samandagi fully deserved thier win.
