Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdi Saygın Dengizer got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinçer Çetintürk got free with Niyazi Sarih in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niyazi Sarih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Dengizer in the 7th minute of the match. Enginsu Özbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meriç Akalın's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdi Saygın Dengizer in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niyazi Sarih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enginsu Özbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teoman Durdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Meriç Akalın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samandagi's supporters rose to their feet, but Meriç Akalın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enginsu Özbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinçer Çetintürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Niyazi Sarih made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Teoman Durdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samandagi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emirgan the free kick. Teoman Durdu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Teoman Durdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samandagi's Teoman Durdu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Emirgan's goal looked a bit too open when Meriç Akalın came free, but Enginsu Özbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Meriç Akalın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samandagi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meriç Akalın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meriç Akalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Enginsu Özbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Emirgan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samandagi were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Teoman Durdu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Emirgan got a freekick which was hit by Cevher Veysel. 55 minutes into the match, Meriç Akalın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enginsu Özbay. Emirgan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meriç Akalın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dinçer Çetintürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niyazi Sarih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinçer Çetintürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Meriç Akalın in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enginsu Özbay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Samandagi's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Saygın Dengizer came free, but Niyazi Sarih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meriç Akalın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Enginsu Özbay made a huge save. In the 71stth minute of the game Abdi Saygın Dengizer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samandagi's Niyazi Sarih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Emirgan's Dinçer Çetintürk in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samandagi's goalie prevented a goal. Samandagi's Ali Asım Saner got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Samandagi's Ali Asım Saner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enginsu Özbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samandagi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
