Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erdeniz Atasoy started the match with the kick off. Abdulbaki Canfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yıldırım Gencay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batur Özkurt got free with Osman İncili in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batur Özkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman İncili having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erdeniz Atasoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osman İncili was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes esenler got a freekick which was hit by Şentürk Adıyaman. When Abdulbaki Canfer came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the esenler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulbaki Canfer couldn't finish the play. Yıldırım Gencay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulbaki Canfer in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Erdeniz Atasoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osman İncili, 1-0. Batur Özkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yıldırım Gencay came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by esenler's Behiç Öznur. But to his dismay, Behiç Öznur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 48th minute Behiç Öznur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Gencay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A hard shot 56 in the game by Abdulbaki Canfer from a close distance when the talented Yıldırım Gencay managed to make a qualified save. Malkara's players were relieved. A beautiful save bye esenler's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Malkara's goal looked a bit too open when Behiç Öznur came free, but Yıldırım Gencay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, esenler's Mithat Atacan got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Erdeniz Atasoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malkara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdeniz Atasoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Mithat Atacan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osman İncili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdeniz Atasoy in the 71st minute of play. Mithat Atacan's late challenge caught a Malkara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mithat Atacan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, esenler's Mithat Atacan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Behiç Öznur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Yıldırım Gencay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Malkara's zone, Behiç Öznur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yıldırım Gencay came out of the goal and Behiç Öznur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erdeniz Atasoy took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osman İncili. Osman İncili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Erdeniz Atasoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman İncili having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Batur Özkurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
