The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevdet Dağhan got free with Abdulmelik Taşkan in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nizam Çakıroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Cevdet Dağhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdulmelik Taşkan. Cevdet Dağhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
