Baturalp Laçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Tümerdem in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furkan Ergüven in the 7th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Taşkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulmelik Taşkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saltuk Yetkiner in the 10th minute of play. Baturalp Laçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulmelik Taşkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saltuk Yetkiner in the 15th minute. When Fenerbahçe's Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Tuğrul Arslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baturalp Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Ergüven came free, but Abdulmelik Taşkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tolga Buminhan fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Tolga Buminhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Buminhan to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat to make the kick off. Baturalp Laçin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bedrettin Canol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With his leg Baturalp Laçin managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Fenerbahçe's Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Saltuk Yetkiner came free, but Abdulmelik Taşkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes YAŞAA MUSTAFA KEMAL PAŞA got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Veli Rasim. Baturalp Laçin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bedrettin Canol sent off a good shot on target. Abdulmelik Taşkan came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by YAŞAA MUSTAFA KEMAL PAŞA's Furkan Ergüven. But to his dismay, Furkan Ergüven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fenerbahçe's Sungur Tümerdem quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tuğrul Arslan, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sungur Tümerdem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Baturalp Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when YAŞAA MUSTAFA KEMAL PAŞA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Veli Rasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedrettin Canol missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Baturalp Laçin right hand side. Fenerbahçe's Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orhan Veli Rasim kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Baturalp Laçin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The YAŞAA MUSTAFA KEMAL PAŞA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
