The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merih Bozkurt helped the player get up and apologised. Baha Hisar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halil İmar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Celil Dindar made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Baha Hisar sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bahtiyar Reha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahtiyar Reha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Kağan Tangun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu's Bahtiyar Reha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilla Kağan Tangun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Baha Hisar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bornova jk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baha Hisar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celil Dindar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Hezarfen in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, bornova jk's Arda Hezarfen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celil Dindar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Bahtiyar Reha made the kick off in the second half. When Nafiz Sipahi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the bornova jk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nafiz Sipahi couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Baturhan Beytekin. A collision led to Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Halil İmar hit a great ball. Atilla Kağan Tangun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bahtiyar Reha's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu's Alparslan Tuğalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilla Kağan Tangun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahtiyar Reha in the 75th minute of play forced bornova jk's goalkeeper Atilla Kağan Tangun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilla Kağan Tangun made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alparslan Tuğalp sent off a good shot on target. Halil İmar kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Mavi Şimşek İdman Yurdu's Bahtiyar Reha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilla Kağan Tangun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Arda Hezarfen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celil Dindar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Hezarfen might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celil Dindar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
