When Kasimpasa's Mehmet Bedri Necmi in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Kasimpasa's protests and gave Alphan Müşfik a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Korkut got a freekick which was hit by Erman Nuratay. After 38 played minutes Korkut got a freekick which was hit by Alkın Ulukan. 43 minutes into the match, Korkut's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bedri Necmi came free, but Ufuk Kaçan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Kasimpasa's Bora Balta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ufuk Kaçan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bora Balta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 61st minute Bora Balta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ufuk Kaçan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Bedri Necmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ufuk Kaçan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bora Balta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ufuk Kaçan having to interfere.
