Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5520, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 100) Reha Işık made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Vefa Orcun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taha Tumbay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ekrem Canbolat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reha Işık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Duragan got a freekick which was hit by Kayhan Usluer. 15 minutes into the match, Ahmet Tolga Ruhsat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GALATASARAY's Ekrem Canbolat. Ekrem Canbolat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GALATASARAY's Mesut Kayrar got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vefa Orcun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Duragan getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kayhan Usluer hit a great ball. Ahmet Fikret Tekmil kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Görkem Şahsar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Taha Tumbay but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vefa Orcun to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Mesut Kayrar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taha Tumbay. Duragan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mesut Kayrar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 57th minute Mesut Kayrar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Tumbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALATASARAY! Ekrem Canbolat went to the wrong direction when Batu Emir was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ahmet Tolga Ruhsat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ekrem Canbolat made a huge save. Ekrem Canbolat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeki Altunay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Kayrar in the 72nd minute of play forced Duragan's goalkeeper Taha Tumbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Koralp Ayhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Mesut Kayrar made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Duragan's Taha Tumbay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reha Işık in the 78th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ekrem Canbolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Duragan got a freekick which was hit by Demircan Sadri. With a little luck, GALATASARAY's Ekrem Canbolat got control of the ball when Ahmet Tolga Ruhsat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mesut Kayrar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Koralp Ayhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krister Wennersten took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taha Tumbay. Taha Tumbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Kayrar in the 93rd minute of play forced Duragan's goalkeeper Taha Tumbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Duragan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reha Işık didn't get a good kick on the ball.
