The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The shot was a little too simple and Vecdet Tunçdağ could save by the left post. 12 minutes into the game, Berker Egelioğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vecdet Tunçdağ. Berker Egelioğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aktuğ Horasan got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Aktuğ Horasan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Berker Egelioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güngören's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berker Egelioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to B.Bağı Sk. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Başar Zeki hit a great ball. Başar Zeki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kuzey Arslantürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Arda Ozan Belge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Baykam Garipoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B.Bağı Sk.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baykam Garipoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vecdet Tunçdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berker Egelioğlu in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in B.Bağı Sk.'s zone, Arda Ozan Belge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Tunçdağ came out of the goal and Arda Ozan Belge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Berker Egelioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Berker Egelioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Vecdet Tunçdağ successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Berker Egelioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Tunçdağ having to interfere.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emin Sunguralp in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vecdet Tunçdağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emin Sunguralp hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. B.Bağı Sk.'s Ali Kürşat Ünzil got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Egelioğlu in the 66th minute of play forced B.Bağı Sk.'s goalkeeper Vecdet Tunçdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güngören's Berker Egelioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in B.Bağı Sk.'s zone, Emin Sunguralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Tunçdağ came out of the goal and Emin Sunguralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berker Egelioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Berker Egelioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
