Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Tayfur Tandan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Refik Halit Payidar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutay Ergüner in the 4th minute of the match. Atakan Erez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Serik's Kutay Ergüner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Refik Halit Payidar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafettin Ekiner acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Şenol Balkır. Kutay Ergüner took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Refik Halit Payidar. Refik Halit Payidar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Ortaköy defense, Yaşar Nuri Çakıroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Refik Halit Payidar. The Ortaköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Refik Halit Payidar should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaşar Nuri Çakıroğlu in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Refik Halit Payidar saved Ortaköy from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Yaşar Nuri Çakıroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Refik Halit Payidar was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Yaşar Nuri Çakıroğlu scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Refik Halit Payidar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ortaköy's Şenol Balkır got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kutay Ergüner struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Refik Halit Payidar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serik. In the 37th minute Turabi Bozyiğit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refik Halit Payidar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serik's Erman Batüralp got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erman Batüralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Serik's goalkeeper Rafettin Ekiner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Sedat Akkuş. The supporters of Ortaköy booed when Serik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erman Batüralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play Serik's Erman Batüralp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th minute, Erman Batüralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Serik were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutay Ergüner was the one to do the kick off. Kutay Ergüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özalp Ulutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Refik Halit Payidar came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Serik's Turabi Bozyiğit. But to his dismay, Turabi Bozyiğit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Rafettin Ekiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sedat Akkuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serik's Rafettin Ekiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Sedat Akkuş in the 65th minute of play. When Tayfur Tandan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ortaköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayfur Tandan couldn't finish the play. Refik Halit Payidar made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Kutay Ergüner sent off a good shot on target. If Kandemir Davarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kandemir Davarcı kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ortaköy's Erhun Şenalp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Serik. In the 82nd minute Ahmet Sedat Akkuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafettin Ekiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refik Halit Payidar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özalp Ulutay, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Kutay Ergüner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Refik Halit Payidar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Özalp Ulutay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Refik Halit Payidar came out and tried to block the shot, but Özalp Ulutay slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 89th minute. Ortaköy's Seyit Demiralp got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serik's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
