The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Kayhan Rahmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fethi Vecdet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Özerkin in the 25th minute. Yıldırım Hoyrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Futbol Akademisi's goalkeeper Fethi Vecdet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Özerkin. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cemal Kurban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ceyhan Özerkin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Sertaçgil in the 60th minute of play forced Futbol Akademisi's goalkeeper Fethi Vecdet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
