Cüneyt Tümer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Gaffar Cansal in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Fenerbahçem's Yasin Tutku ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nazım Ulukut. Nazım Ulukut yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 22 played minutes Sütlüce got a freekick which was hit by Talat Kayrahan. Sütlüce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Yasin Tutku scored to the left of an out of position Nazım Ulukut, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Orhan Veli İslamoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sütlüce's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Veli İslamoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Tümer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Orhan Veli İslamoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sütlüce fans jumped to their feet. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A very nice done corner allowed Gökhun Yaygır to score against Cüneyt Tümer in Fenerbahçem's goal. 3-1 after 98 minutes.
