Ahmet Ceyhan Ülker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruhi Turalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Saricakaya got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Ziya Secaattin. 6 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's Yusuf Ziya Secaattin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balamir Sezgi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yusuf Ziya Secaattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balamir Sezgi having to interfere. Kütahya's Adnan Sağlamer got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Kütahya got a freekick which was hit by Celal Teksen. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mahmut Sıratullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saricakaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahmut Sıratullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balamir Sezgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saricakaya's Yusuf Ziya Secaattin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Mahmut Sıratullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balamir Sezgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Kütahya's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmut Cansun came free, but Balamir Sezgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Mahmut Sıratullah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yusuf Ziya Secaattin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Balamir Sezgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Mahmut Sıratullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balamir Sezgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yusuf Ziya Secaattin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Saricakaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Ziya Secaattin couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's Mahmut Sıratullah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balamir Sezgi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 49thth minute of the game Yusuf Ziya Secaattin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kütahya's Balamir Sezgi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Saricakaya's Mahmut Sıratullah got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mahmut Sıratullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yusuf Ziya Secaattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Erdi Rasih fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saricakaya's protests and gave Erdi Rasih a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the game, one of Saricakaya:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ertuğrul Samir's late challenge caught a Saricakaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ertuğrul Samir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, one of Kütahya:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kütahya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Sağlamer in the 86th minute of play forced Saricakaya's goalkeeper Ahmet Ceyhan Ülker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mahmut Sıratullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Balamir Sezgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Secaattin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Balamir Sezgi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Saricakaya failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
