Yildizeli FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cankut Hayırlı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Kürşat Sanal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yildizeli FK and the Carsamba JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kürşat Sanal hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kenan Rıfkı took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yetkiner Sadi. Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yetkiner Sadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Tümkurt in the 11th minute of play. Tayyar Ragıp took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasan Tahsin Kamil. Hasan Tahsin Kamil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Kürşat Sanal got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Yildizeli FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kürşat Sanal hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Baskın Kayral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yetkiner Sadi. Yildizeli FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baskın Kayral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Baskın Kayral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haldun Tümkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Cankut Hayırlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Haldun Tümkurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yetkiner Sadi was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The supporters of Carsamba JK booed when Yildizeli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Berkant Şemseddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Haldun Tümkurt came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Carsamba JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haldun Tümkurt couldn't finish the play. Yetkiner Sadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baskın Kayral in the 44th minute of play. When Carsamba JK's Baskın Kayral in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yildizeli FK's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tayyar Ragıp to strike the kick off in the second half. Hasan Tahsin Kamil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyar Ragıp in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baskın Kayral in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yetkiner Sadi saved Yildizeli FK from getting behind. Hasan Tahsin Kamil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tayyar Ragıp's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karahan Akın during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Karahan Akın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carsamba JK's Haldun Tümkurt in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Yildizeli FK's Cankut Hayırlı got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yildizeli FK's zone, Haldun Tümkurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yetkiner Sadi came out of the goal and Haldun Tümkurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper Yetkiner Sadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yildizeli FK's Yetkiner Sadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Tümkurt in the 93rd minute of play. Yetkiner Sadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Tümkurt in the 94th minute of play. When Enis Behiç Özen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yildizeli FK's protests and gave Enis Behiç Özen a yellow card for diving instead. The Carsamba JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
