The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Yakut Ustaoğlu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mevlüt Yavuzalp to make any attempt to save it. Çakabey Ehil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sarı Kanarya getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ali Vedat İrfanoğlu hit a great ball. Çakabey Ehil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ertuğrul Tanyeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulu Topel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertuğrul Tanyeli having to interfere. Yakut Ustaoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mevlüt Yavuzalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Sarı Kanarya getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ali Vedat İrfanoğlu hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Çakabey Ehil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daday JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çakabey Ehil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulu Topel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ertuğrul Tanyeli was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Cevdet Akbatu came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mevlüt Yavuzalp could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ulu Topel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daday JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulu Topel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ertuğrul Tanyeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Aykut Koçarslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mevlüt Yavuzalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakut Ustaoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarı Kanarya had won after a very even match.
