The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to AZADİYA WELAT getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. After 14 minutes, Latif Akpınar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZADİYA WELAT and the Güneysinir players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alphan Demirdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahit Tolunbay in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AZADİYA WELAT's zone, Şahin Uğuray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özden Tanyel came out of the goal and Şahin Uğuray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Güralp Sancaktar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Özden Tanyel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vahit Tolunbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alphan Demirdelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahit Tolunbay ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the game, Hasan Can Onay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AZADİYA WELAT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Güneysinir the free kick. Hasan Can Onay hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Latif Akpınar kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Çağrı Muammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vahit Tolunbay in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alphan Demirdelen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Çağrı Muammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alphan Demirdelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alphan Demirdelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahit Tolunbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the final whistle sounded AZADİYA WELAT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Güneysinir.
