The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhittin Üner got free with Vedat Acar in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş266's goal looked a bit too open when Atakan Özdemir came free, but Vedat Acar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhittin Üner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vedat Acar made a huge save. Barbaros Ilgınlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Erdinç Oruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Resulhan Dağdelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Oruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Resulhan Dağdelen in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erdinç Oruk saved Afyon from getting behind. When Orkun Namık fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afyon's protests and gave Orkun Namık a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Afyon's Orkun Namık got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Resulhan Dağdelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş266's supporters crossed their fingers, but Resulhan Dağdelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Resulhan Dağdelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erdinç Oruk having to make a save. Vatan Kalender charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vatan Kalender the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Vatan Kalender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ferit Tanacan from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Vedat Acar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Muhittin Üner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Beşiktaş266's zone, Muhittin Üner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vedat Acar came out of the goal and Muhittin Üner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atakan Özdemir was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Atakan Özdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vedat Acar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Afyon booed when Beşiktaş266 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vatan Kalender didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Atakan Özdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vedat Acar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atakan Özdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhittin Üner in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vedat Acar saved Beşiktaş266 from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Muhittin Üner made a precise shot to the right of Vedat Acar. Beşiktaş266's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Erdinç Oruk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barbaros Ilgınlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muhittin Üner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedat Acar having to interfere. With a little luck, Afyon's Erdinç Oruk got control of the ball when Resulhan Dağdelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beşiktaş266 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Afyon.
