Hazar Memduh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Celil İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aygün Kamver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Arif İhya took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fahri Dündaroğlu. Fahri Dündaroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Menekse booed when Nakkastepe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çeliker Mazhar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Aygün Kamver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menekse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aygün Kamver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hazar Memduh in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celil İdris saved Nakkastepe SK from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Nakkastepe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hazar Memduh came free, but Celil İdris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aygün Kamver struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Celil İdris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menekse. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hazar Memduh was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Nakkastepe SK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Çeliker Mazhar hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Menekse's Aygün Kamver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celil İdris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 75 played minutes, Menekse's Şükrü Uğurlubay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celil İdris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Menekse reached it. If Hazar Memduh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aygün Kamver in the 79th minute of play forced Nakkastepe SK's goalkeeper Celil İdris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aygün Kamver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hazar Memduh in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celil İdris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Hazar Memduh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hazar Memduh struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Celil İdris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menekse. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Aygün Kamver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menekse's supporters rose to their feet, but Aygün Kamver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celil İdris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Tunç Uyguralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Ergincan Erzan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Menekse's Fahri Dündaroğlu didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Menekse had won after a very even match.
