Ahmet Nafiz Baroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necaettin Şenol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazar Memduh, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Aygün Kamver made a precise shot to the right of Necaettin Şenol. Osmanlı Spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Osmanlı Spor's Ahmet Nafiz Baroğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The supporters of Menekse booed when Osmanlı Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Rıza Ülgü didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Şükrü Uğurlubay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Necaettin Şenol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Necaettin Şenol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Rafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Necaettin Şenol came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Menekse's Hazar Memduh. But to his dismay, Hazar Memduh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 29 minutes into the match, Aygün Kamver notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Osmanlı Spor's Necaettin Şenol. Necaettin Şenol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Hamza Rafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Şenol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Menekse's Hamza Rafi made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Necaettin Şenol was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ahmet Nafiz Baroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Hamza Rafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Şenol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menekse's Tunç Uyguralp got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hazar Memduh to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Osmanlı Spor's Necaettin Şenol got control of the ball when Aygün Kamver tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Osmanlı Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Bumin Yağızbay to maneuver through the defense. Aygün Kamver's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Necaettin Şenol firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 66 minutes, Enis Çelenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmanlı Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enis Çelenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osmanlı Spor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Aygün Kamver scored to the left of an out of position Necaettin Şenol, making the score, 1-7. Aygün Kamver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Necaettin Şenol made a huge save. Hamza Rafi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Osmanlı Spor's Birsel Yekta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hazar Memduh in the 76th minute of play forced Osmanlı Spor's goalkeeper Necaettin Şenol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Osmanlı Spor booed when Menekse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tunç Uyguralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmanlı Spor's Necaettin Şenol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Osmanlı Spor from getting a goal against them. Necaettin Şenol made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Hamza Rafi sent off a good shot on target. Fahri Dündaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nafiz Baroğlu in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Aygün Kamver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Necaettin Şenol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute Hazar Memduh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Şenol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Enis Çelenk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahri Dündaroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet Nafiz Baroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Osmanlı Spor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Menekse were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
