Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baturay Sargınal to strike the kick off in the second half. Ata Direnç was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anıl Cenk Özsevi's late challenge caught a Izmirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Caner Deveci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Derviş Çalkın, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Izmirspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
