An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Direnç in the 29th minute of play forced Ovacik's goalkeeper Dorukhan Acunman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 30th minute of the match Uluç Rikap completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Izmirspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ata Direnç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gazi Eke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dorukhan Acunman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorukhan Acunman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Deniz Gence in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Hakkı Deniz Gence who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ovacik's Dorukhan Acunman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ata Direnç came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Izmirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ata Direnç couldn't finish the play. Dorukhan Acunman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ata Direnç in the 100th minute of play. Izmirspor were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ovacik to leave the ground with a draw.
