Gülsehir's Mehmet Oğuz Şahistan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerem Özgen in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Utku Eskicioğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gülsehir's Zaid Aydın quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Serdar Utman fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After the first half Batı Gençlik Spor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esen Kılıçdaroğlu to make the kick off. Zaid Aydın might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çakabey İmran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaid Aydın ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Oğuz Şahistan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerem Özgen in the 93rd minute of the match. Esen Kılıçdaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakabey İmran having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gülsehir fully deserved thier win.
