Esrefhoca JK's Yağızalp Yurdaşen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eser Canbolat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Yurdaşen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Yağızalp Yurdaşen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esrefhoca JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yağızalp Yurdaşen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eser Canbolat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yağızalp Yurdaşen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Karakartal FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Ergök to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Esrefhoca JK's Ersan Irmak got control of the ball when Ali Vedat Hakan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Yağızalp Yurdaşen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, one of Esrefhoca JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Esrefhoca JK. The referee gave Karakartal FK a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şerif Ergök, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esrefhoca JK's Ersan Irmak. 1-0. A collision led to Esrefhoca JK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Polat Sadi hit a great ball. Dursun Şerefhan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ersan Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman İlkay in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play Esrefhoca JK's Polat Sadi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Polat Sadi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Yağızalp Yurdaşen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Karakartal FK booed when Esrefhoca JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Demiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yağızalp Yurdaşen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eser Canbolat made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Yağızalp Yurdaşen sent off a good shot on target. Gencal Yafes charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencal Yafes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Karakartal FK's Gencal Yafes got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Yağızalp Yurdaşen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esrefhoca JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızalp Yurdaşen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 88 in the game by Uğur Demiray from a close distance when the talented Eser Canbolat managed to make a qualified save. Karakartal FK's players were relieved. Yağızalp Yurdaşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Canbolat having to interfere.
