Sergen Tokyüz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mümtaz Kalagay in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Beşiktaş JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ahmet Binalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adapazarı's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mürsel Topçam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmet Binalp could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Samet İltan however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute Mümtaz Kalagay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergen Tokyüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samet İltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mürsel Topçam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mürsel Topçam in the 45th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Samet İltan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adapazarı's Sergen Tokyüz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz Kalagay in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mürsel Topçam was the one to do the kick off. Beşiktaş JK's Bozkurt Necat got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İsa Hirfanlı hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Adapazarı's Anıl Ozan Özger got a free kick in the 58th minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Bozkurt Necat from a close distance when the talented Sergen Tokyüz managed to make a qualified save. Adapazarı's players were relieved. Kadim Hadim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samet İltan having to interfere. Mürsel Topçam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Mümtaz Kalagay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergen Tokyüz, 1-1. Sergen Tokyüz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mümtaz Kalagay's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Mümtaz Kalagay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bozkurt Necat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Bozkurt Necat made a precise shot to the right of Sergen Tokyüz. Adapazarı's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Beşiktaş JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
