Eski's Peker Baldemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Selimhan Onkal in the 25th minute of play. Basri Mutlutekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peker Baldemir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basri Mutlutekin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28thth minute of the game Basri Mutlutekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eski's Peker Baldemir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basri Mutlutekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Eski's Berkant Eracar got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Ahmet Kağan Balcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eralp Barlas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes, Galata SK's Alim Üstün shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peker Baldemir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galata SK reached it. Arda Ula hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Hayrettin Pertev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eralp Barlas having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Kağan Balcan to make the kick off. Eralp Eldemir hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Peker Baldemir didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Yavuz Selimhan Onkal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galata SK's Arda Ula got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Hayrettin Pertev notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Galata SK's Eralp Barlas. Eralp Barlas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd match minute, Eski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkant Eracar to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Basri Mutlutekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Eski supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galata SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Galata SK.
