The nice shot from Çetin Songün in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Namık Terim had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 24th minute, Mansur Tuğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Neşat Akçay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suburcu SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Suburcu SK's Gökçek Cihanmert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytek Uluerkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gökçek Cihanmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Menemen defense, Ali Cafer Tunay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aytek Uluerkan. The Menemen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aytek Uluerkan should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Menemen's Aytek Uluerkan got control of the ball when Ali Cafer Tunay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Suburcu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Galip Sebuktekin came free, but Namık Terim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Suburcu SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
