After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kaan Murtaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersin JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaan Murtaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merih İmroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mersin JK's Ali Erdem Uygunel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Alişan Bağış was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CANBAZ FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mersin JK the free kick. The supporters of Mersin JK booed when CANBAZ FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alişan Bağış didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mersin JK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Akın Okdemir hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Nedim Sezgi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necmi Uçarer saved Mersin JK from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, Mersin JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akın Okdemir to maneuver through the defense. Necmi Uçarer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim Sezgi in the 21st minute of play. Turan Seyhun hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Kaan Murtaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Ataergin in the 37th minute of play forced Mersin JK's goalkeeper Necmi Uçarer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akın Okdemir in the 38th minute of play forced CANBAZ FK's goalkeeper Merih İmroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resulhan Rakim hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Merih İmroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Erdem Uygunel in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, CANBAZ FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Namık Fişek fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kaan Murtaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Namık Fişek made a kick off. If Namık Fişek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Namık Fişek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute Alişan Bağış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmi Uçarer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necmi Uçarer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alişan Bağış in the 58th minute of the match. Necmi Uçarer made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ahmet Nedim Sezgi sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Mersin JK's goalkeeper Necmi Uçarer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Nedim Sezgi. In the 63rd minute, Akın Okdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind CANBAZ FK's goalkeeper Merih İmroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Resulhan Rakim charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Resulhan Rakim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Mersin JK got a freekick which was hit by Resulhan Rakim. Kaan Murtaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Merih İmroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CANBAZ FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Babür Erbatur hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Demiralp Salur in the 73rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Merih İmroz's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaan Murtaza in the 80th minute of play forced CANBAZ FK's goalkeeper Merih İmroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Erdem Uygunel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merih İmroz having to make a save. Ali Erdem Uygunel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih İmroz having to interfere. Merih İmroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Namık Fişek went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kaan Murtaza's late challenge caught a CANBAZ FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaan Murtaza helped the player get up and apologised. Kaan Murtaza hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Mersin JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akın Okdemir to maneuver through the defense. CANBAZ FK's Ahmet Nedim Başayoğlu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Necmi Uçarer but with some difficulty. Mersin JK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
