After a rather tough play, Sandikli's Giray Metin got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuratay Acunman in the 10th minute of play forced GEBZE CİMBOM's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Yazgı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nuratay Acunman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Nejat Sabancı kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuratay Acunman in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Hakan Yazgı saved GEBZE CİMBOM from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Nuratay Acunman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Hakan Yazgı was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Nuratay Acunman made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Hakan Yazgı. GEBZE CİMBOM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Sandikli's Nuratay Acunman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Hakan Yazgı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Nuratay Acunman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandikli's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuratay Acunman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hakan Yazgı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Özkan Özgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GEBZE CİMBOM's Mustafa Hakan Yazgı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of GEBZE CİMBOM booed when Sandikli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevher Songün didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, GEBZE CİMBOM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Sabancı to maneuver through the defense. Sandikli's Nuratay Acunman got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Ali Nejat Sabancı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GEBZE CİMBOM and the Sandikli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Hakan Yazgı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuratay Acunman in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Sandikli were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eser Selman made the kick off in the second half. Giray Metin hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Mustafa Hakan Yazgı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özkan Özgan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Özkan Özgan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Hakan Yazgı. Özkan Özgan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 85th play minute Nuratay Acunman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mustafa Hakan Yazgı. 0-5. Sandikli played a much better game than GEBZE CİMBOM and deserved their victory. The GEBZE CİMBOM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
