Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahsun Revan started the match with the kick off. Sungur Taygun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Safi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sungur Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, DN FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Safi came free, but Sungur Taygun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Mahsun Revan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taci Ceyhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mehmet Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sungur Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mustafa Ali Tuğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Sungur Taygun however easily saved by the left post. Kaan Rıfat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sungur Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The 1923 İstanbul FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DN FK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehmet Safi made a kick off. When Samet Hamurcu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the DN FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samet Hamurcu couldn't finish the play. Sungur Taygun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Safi went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sungur Taygun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Safi in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Mehmet Safi made a precise shot to the right of Sungur Taygun. DN FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Samet Hamurcu's late challenge caught a 1923 İstanbul FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samet Hamurcu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DN FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Samet Hamurcu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Revan in the 86th minute of play forced 1923 İstanbul FK's goalkeeper Taci Ceyhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samet Hamurcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samet Hamurcu got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Samet Hamurcu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mustafa Ali Tuğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ömer Rıza Hekimhanlı during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DN FK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ömer Rıza Hekimhanlı hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 1923 İstanbul FK fully deserved thier win.
