Abdurrahim Özilhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakup Kadıoğlu in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes in the game, Cemalettin Uğurlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tuncer Türkeş having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vezirköprü's zone, Zühtü Özbil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuncer Türkeş came out of the goal and Zühtü Özbil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Yildizeli's goal looked a bit too open when Bekir Koçarslanoğlu came free, but Abdurrahim Özilhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Yildizeli's goal looked a bit too open when Dinçer Hatip came free, but Abdurrahim Özilhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vezirköprü booed when Yildizeli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Cem İpekçi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdurrahim Özilhan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Vezirköprü's Bekir Koçarslanoğlu. But to his dismay, Bekir Koçarslanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Yildizeli players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vezirköprü were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yakup Kadıoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bekir Koçarslanoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdurrahim Özilhan, 0-3. Abdurrahim Özilhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bekir Koçarslanoğlu in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Yakup Kadıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdurrahim Özilhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Dinçer Hatip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Yildizeli's Zühtü Özbil got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zühtü Özbil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tuncer Türkeş having to make a save. After having played for 71 minutes, Batu Cem İpekçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildizeli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Cem İpekçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zühtü Özbil came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Yildizeli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zühtü Özbil couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zühtü Özbil in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncer Türkeş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdurrahim Özilhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bekir Koçarslanoğlu in the 76th minute. Vacib Neval's late challenge caught a Vezirköprü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vacib Neval helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Vezirköprü's Dinçer Hatip ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdurrahim Özilhan. Abdurrahim Özilhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Tuncer Türkeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zühtü Özbil in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Yildizeli booed when Vezirköprü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Hatip didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ant Açıkgün got free with Abdurrahim Özilhan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Ant Açıkgün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdurrahim Özilhan. Yildizeli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ant Açıkgün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Vezirköprü's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
