After a defensive mix-up in Şereflikoçhisar FK's zone, Berker Rıza Tuğsavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naci Yalkın came out of the goal and Berker Rıza Tuğsavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naci Yalkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Rıza Tuğsavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Atabek Akgül hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Rüstem Atay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Şereflikoçhisar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüstem Atay came free, but Naci Yalkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naci Yalkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüstem Atay, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hürkan Faydalı during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Şereflikoçhisar FK's Karahan Yağmurdereli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Halim Buğdaycı. In the 34thth minute of the game Rüstem Atay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Şereflikoçhisar FK's Naci Yalkın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sungur Azimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüstem Atay in the 36th minute of play forced Şereflikoçhisar FK's goalkeeper Naci Yalkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Rüstem Atay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Yalkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gencal Eyüpoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şereflikoçhisar FK's protests and gave Gencal Eyüpoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Şereflikoçhisar FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gencal Eyüpoğlu hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Şereflikoçhisar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüstem Atay came free, but Naci Yalkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuz Selim Boysel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halim Buğdaycı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Berker Rıza Tuğsavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rüstem Atay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atabey were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Şereflikoçhisar FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Köksal Çelebi took the corner. The corner ended in Köksal Çelebi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Şereflikoçhisar FK's Naci Yalkın did a great save. 56 minutes into the game, Şereflikoçhisar FK's Ahmet Seyfi Taci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halim Buğdaycı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Rüstem Atay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Berker Rıza Tuğsavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atabey's supporters rose to their feet, but Berker Rıza Tuğsavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naci Yalkın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Rüstem Atay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atabey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüstem Atay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Yavuz Selim Boysel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sezgin Nedret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naci Yalkın having to interfere. Şereflikoçhisar FK's Naci Yalkın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Şereflikoçhisar FK from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sungur Azimoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naci Yalkın was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 82 played minutes Şereflikoçhisar FK got a freekick which was hit by Atabek Akgül. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Şereflikoçhisar FK were victorious despite being under pressure from Atabey for much of the match.
