Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barış İslamoğlu started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Gökmen Yalazay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tuna Toydemir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Engin Baykutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayyar Erdoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Mücahitler's Gökmen Yalazay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuna Toydemir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tuna Toydemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökmen Yalazay, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Altay Riva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erman Kayacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barış İslamoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gökmen Yalazay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mücahitler's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökmen Yalazay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuna Toydemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Körfez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mücahitler were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökmen Yalazay to make the kick off. In the 55th play minute Kasım Aksel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tuna Toydemir. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gökmen Yalazay took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Tuna Toydemir to make any attempt to save it. Tayyar Erdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erman Kayacan having to interfere. Alphan Semavi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Körfez's goalkeeper Tuna Toydemir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alphan Semavi. Kasım Aksel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuna Toydemir was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Gökmen Yalazay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gökmen Yalazay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Erman Kayacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayyar Erdoğan in the 85th minute of the match. Gökmen Yalazay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mücahitler booed when Körfez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Esenboğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Körfez's goal looked a bit too open when Gökmen Yalazay came free, but Tuna Toydemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Engin Baykutay's late challenge caught a Körfez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Engin Baykutay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute of the match Şahin Suha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erman Kayacan skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Mücahitler could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Körfez throughout the match.
