The audience was convinced that Ensar Tükel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erdal Alyakut was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. FENERBAHCEKFY's Bayhan Erten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selim Şömel in the 25th minute of play. Alaaddin Ünlü scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdal Alyakut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Ramiz Emek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENERBAHCEKFY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karan İdman Yurdu the free kick. Ramiz Emek hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Selim Şömel made a kick off. Karan İdman Yurdu's Erdal Alyakut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Karan İdman Yurdu from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Ceyhan Torgay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdal Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erdal Alyakut made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Alaaddin Ünlü sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Karan İdman Yurdu's Erdal Alyakut got control of the ball when Alaaddin Ünlü tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the FENERBAHCEKFY defense, Selim Şömel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayhan Erten. The FENERBAHCEKFY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayhan Erten should have stopped the shot. Ensar Tükel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Karan İdman Yurdu defense, Alaaddin Ünlü kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erdal Alyakut. The Karan İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erdal Alyakut should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Karan İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Erdal Alyakut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alaaddin Ünlü. 82 minutes into the match, Karan İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Ensar Tükel came free, but Erdal Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FENERBAHCEKFY's Ensar Tükel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes of play, FENERBAHCEKFY's Hakkı Deniz Behram made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdal Alyakut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alaaddin Ünlü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Birkan Erel notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Karan İdman Yurdu's Erdal Alyakut. Erdal Alyakut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Hakkı Deniz Behram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selim Şömel took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bayhan Erten. Bayhan Erten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. FENERBAHCEKFY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
