Enis Midilli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayhan Erten having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHCEKFY's zone, Mehmet Şefik Baldemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceyhan Torgay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enis Midilli to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, FENERBAHCEKFY's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mehmet Şefik Baldemir fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Ceyhan Torgay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FENERBAHCEKFY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 80 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Torgay came free, but Nurkan Saltukalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Türker Değirmencioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ensar Tükel came free, but Nurkan Saltukalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
