In the 8th match minute, EMAY FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cemalettin Karahan to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Engin Okman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melih Cevdet Kanver came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrahpasa's Atalan Terim. But to his dismay, Atalan Terim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Görkem Oran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, one of Cerrahpasa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cerrahpasa. Battal Seyyit Babür had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Eşref Hepyener's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Mustafa Necati Oyman from a close distance when the talented Melih Cevdet Kanver managed to make a qualified save. EMAY FK's players were relieved. Engin Okman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melih Cevdet Kanver having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EMAY FK's Samet Nejat got a free kick in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Halis Orak during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Engin Okman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Azmi Ruşeni made a precise shot to the right of Battal Seyyit Babür. Cerrahpasa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cerrahpasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Halis Orak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melih Cevdet Kanver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Yıldırım, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Engin Okman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Engin Okman came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cerrahpasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Engin Okman couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Necati Oyman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melih Cevdet Kanver was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Cerrahpasa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
