A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Galatasaray a.ş's Abdi Mehmet Topçam ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Veysel Elhan. Veysel Elhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Baturay Hezarfen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Ersal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bircan Ersal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturay Hezarfen having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bircan Ersal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray a.ş's Baturay Hezarfen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bircan Ersal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Karadeniz Ortanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baturay Hezarfen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bircan Ersal sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bircan Ersal in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baturay Hezarfen saved Galatasaray a.ş from getting behind. If Bircan Ersal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Göktürk FC booed when Galatasaray a.ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duran Öztekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cumali Afşar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Veysel Elhan. Göktürk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Berke Hattat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray a.ş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Hattat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bircan Ersal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Baturay Hezarfen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göktürk FC. Baturay Hezarfen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bircan Ersal's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Gazi Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Baturay Hezarfen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bircan Ersal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baturay Hezarfen was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Göktürk FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
