A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Recep Talha Üke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tanju Kuthan, 1-1. If Altuğ Bayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tacettin Dilşad came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Yeniköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tacettin Dilşad couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Gazi İrfan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yeniköy SK's Battal Gazi İrfan got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Recep Talha Üke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanju Kuthan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Bedirhan Yalgın kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tanju Kuthan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cine. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Cine booed when Yeniköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altuğ Bayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cevahir Akduman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gencal Vedat made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tacettin Dilşad sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cine getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ahmet Nafiz Demirezen hit a great ball. Tacettin Dilşad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Cevahir Akduman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gencal Vedat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 97 minutes into the match, Cine's goalkeeper Gencal Vedat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tacettin Dilşad. Cine succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Yeniköy SK had controlled the match.
