In the 3rd minute, Aybek Ongunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sancar Bağcıoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aybek Ongunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trabzonspor's Aydın Ortaçgil in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÇAMANKA SK's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's Aydın Ortaçgil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sancar Bağcıoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sancar Bağcıoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aybek Ongunes in the 20th minute. Cenap Taha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giray Övünç in the 27th minute of the match. Aydın Ortaçgil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancar Bağcıoğlu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydın Ortaçgil in the 34th minute of play forced ÇAMANKA SK's goalkeeper Sancar Bağcıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orhan Veli Gök took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenap Taha. Cenap Taha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 45thth minute of the game Orhan Veli Gök who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trabzonspor's Cenap Taha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Kamer Akkaş got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aydın Ortaçgil to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Atay Talaykan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orhan Veli Gök blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cenap Taha having to make a save. Trabzonspor's Cenap Taha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. Cenap Taha was a little too slow when Kutluay Taşkesen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Cenap Taha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aybek Ongunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ÇAMANKA SK booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fevzi Güzir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Anıl Barbaros hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Kutluay Taşkesen managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇAMANKA SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutluay Taşkesen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cenap Taha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
