Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Samsun JK's Yıldırım Paksoy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Ünal Ulaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Tanyeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of TRABZONSPOR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samsun JK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Samsun JK's Dorukhan Acıbadem got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bircan İlbaşı. Samsun JK's Asaf Şahinter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bircan İlbaşı but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Samsun JK's Bahattin Tengiroğlu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Serkan Taylak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Tanyeri having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldırım Paksoy in the 25th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Bircan İlbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yıldırım Paksoy spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TRABZONSPOR's goal. When Yıldırım Paksoy came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Samsun JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yıldırım Paksoy couldn't finish the play. Serkan Taylak kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Yıldırım Paksoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRABZONSPOR's Bircan İlbaşı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şerif Ergümen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Bircan İlbaşı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. TRABZONSPOR's Bircan İlbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Paksoy in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Serkan Taylak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRABZONSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serkan Taylak to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulaş Tüzüner during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TRABZONSPOR getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ulaş Tüzüner hit a great ball. Yıldırım Paksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Samsun JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRABZONSPOR the free kick. After 74 played minutes Samsun JK got a freekick which was hit by Asım Ayıkoğlu. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Şerif Ergümen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samsun JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerif Ergümen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bircan İlbaşı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yıldırım Paksoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bircan İlbaşı having to interfere. Bircan İlbaşı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerif Ergümen in the 93rd minute of play. TRABZONSPOR's Ünal Ulaç got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şerif Ergümen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bircan İlbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Samsun JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
