Nebi Sarphan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caner Dilşah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nebi Sarphan ran back to his position shaking his head. Nebi Sarphan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caner Dilşah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YEŞİL BURSA SPOR. After a defensive mix-up in MKE KIRIKKALE's zone, Murat Salikbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caner Dilşah came out of the goal and Murat Salikbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gencal Kaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caner Dilşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Abi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yağız Ayaydın to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes YEŞİL BURSA SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Sarphan. Yağız Ayaydın's late challenge caught a YEŞİL BURSA SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
