If Gökçe Sadak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şentürk Kaymaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cenan Semim went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gökçe Sadak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceyhun Akağan having to interfere. After some careless play in the Boztepe FK defense, Boğaç Oğuzbala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceyhun Akağan. The Boztepe FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceyhun Akağan should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Eyüpspor's Gökçe Sadak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceyhun Akağan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Songurbey Durucan fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eyüpspor's protests and gave Songurbey Durucan a yellow card for diving instead. Songurbey Durucan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gökçe Sadak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gökçe Sadak ran back to his position shaking his head. Boğaç Oğuzbala was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Eyüpspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bilge Kağan Kırgız was the one to do the kick off. Ceyhun Akağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçe Sadak in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçe Sadak in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceyhun Akağan saved Boztepe FK from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Eyüpspor got a freekick which was hit by Songurbey Durucan. In the 62nd minute Boğaç Oğuzbala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceyhun Akağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceyhun Akağan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boğaç Oğuzbala's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eyüpspor's zone, Cenan Semim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şentürk Kaymaz came out of the goal and Cenan Semim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gökçe Sadak came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Eyüpspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçe Sadak couldn't finish the play. If Gökçe Sadak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceyhun Akağan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökçe Sadak in the 91st minute of the match.
