Berkan Yavuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uluer having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Ankara Akademi got a freekick which was hit by Bünyamin Sökmensu. In the 12th minute, Bedrettin Çakmur sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ankara Akademi's Faruk Uluer didn't even have to move. Ankara Akademi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Berkan Yavuzer 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 18th minute Berkan Yavuzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faruk Uluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkan Yavuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uluer having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Berkan Yavuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CANFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ankara Akademi the free kick. The supporters of Ankara Akademi booed when CANFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkan Yavuzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anıl Berk Berat fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANFC's protests and gave Anıl Berk Berat a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes CANFC got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Berk Berat. After a defensive mix-up in Ankara Akademi's zone, Berkan Yavuzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faruk Uluer came out of the goal and Berkan Yavuzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melik Parsbays short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Faruk Uluer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ankara Akademi's Faruk Uluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkan Yavuzer in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ünal Direm in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulvi Zoral saved CANFC from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Melih Delioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankara Akademi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melih Delioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ankara Akademi's Melih Delioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melik Parsbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Ankara Akademi's Melih Delioğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Faruk Uluer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melik Parsbay's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Yavuzer in the 74th minute of play forced Ankara Akademi's goalkeeper Faruk Uluer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CANFC's Melik Parsbay in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ankara Akademi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Ankara Akademi's Ünal Direm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulvi Zoral. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melik Parsbay couldn't finish the play. Faruk Uluer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Yavuzer in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankara Akademi's goalkeeper Faruk Uluer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Berkan Yavuzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Faruk Uluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CANFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
