Rüknettin İlkser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ünal Direm in the 7th minute of play. Faruk Uluer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nejat Kubilay in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Ali Nejat Kubilay made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ankara Akademi's Faruk Uluer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faruk Uluer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ceyhan Bicanoğlu's late challenge caught a Ankara Akademi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceyhan Bicanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ankara Akademi booed when Nazilli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceyhan Bicanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Nazilli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ünal Direm came free, but Rüknettin İlkser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Melih Delioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Ali Nejat Kubilay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazilli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nejat Kubilay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nazilli JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
