Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Celtik's Davut Oktar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cüneyt Asalet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abidin Nazif having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Kahraman Tecimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celtik's Davut Oktar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Halis Çağlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Nazif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abidin Nazif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Ziya, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Islahiye SK's Abidin Nazif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davut Oktar in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Islahiye SK got a freekick which was hit by Mutlu Atabek. 17 minutes into the match, Mesut Baldemir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abidin Nazif. Islahiye SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mesut Baldemir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mesut Baldemir struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Abidin Nazif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celtik. Abidin Nazif came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtik's Halis Çağlar. But to his dismay, Halis Çağlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 28 minutes, Feyyaz Ümran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Islahiye SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feyyaz Ümran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Davut Oktar fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celtik's protests and gave Davut Oktar a yellow card for diving instead. Davut Oktar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Abidin Nazif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Baldemir in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Islahiye SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafız Özbilek to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Islahiye SK's Hafız Özbilek got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Davut Oktar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Nazif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Halis Ziya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Davut Oktar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Halis Çağlar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

After a rather tough play, Celtik's Halis Çağlar got a free kick in the 51st minute. Abidin Nazif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Halis Ziya in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilla Akkın in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abidin Nazif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Mesut Baldemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abidin Nazif was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Cüneyt Asalet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abidin Nazif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Baldemir in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Ümran in the 63rd minute of play forced Celtik's goalkeeper Sarper Yiğiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökçek Yetkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abidin Nazif having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Halis Çağlar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abidin Nazif. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Islahiye SK's goalkeeper Abidin Nazif, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cüneyt Asalet in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abidin Nazif saved Islahiye SK from getting behind. Mesut Baldemir took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abidin Nazif. Abidin Nazif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Celtik's Vahap Üner got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Abbas Onursal came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Islahiye SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbas Onursal couldn't finish the play. Celtik's Davut Oktar got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mesut Baldemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Baldemir in the 90th minute of play forced Islahiye SK's goalkeeper Abidin Nazif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mehmet Halis Ziya took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Abidin Nazif to make any attempt to save it. Celtik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
