The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şenel Adıgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutluay Erakıncı in the 4th minute of the match. Parthenios FC's Şenel Adıgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutluay Erakıncı in the 7th minute of play. Cemal Konguralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Songur having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Afşar Kadem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parthenios FC and the Gömec SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cemal Konguralp struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mahsun Songur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parthenios FC. In the 24thth minute of the game İlhami Özakan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gömec SK's Mahsun Songur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berk Uğurlu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. İlhami Özakan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mahsun Songur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game İlhami Özakan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gömec SK's Mahsun Songur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baha Yalazay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutluay Erakıncı in the 48th minute of play forced Parthenios FC's goalkeeper Şenel Adıgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İlhami Özakan to strike the kick off in the second half. Derviş Yılkan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Cemal Konguralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
