A very good chance. Işık Ünsal kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Murat Ahıska stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birsel Ümit's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Faruk Tokkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ofspor SK's Murat Ahıska was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's Faruk Tokkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murat Ahıska narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Birsel Ümit managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Birsel Ümit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Ahıska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Faruk Tokkan made a precise shot to the right of Murat Ahıska. Ofspor SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Murat Ahıska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Tokkan in the 25th minute of play. If Faruk Tokkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ofspor SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. Işık Ünsal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murat Ahıska. 1-2. After having played for 92 minutes, Faruk Tokkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faruk Tokkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Cezmi Taşcıoğlu in the 94th minute really tested Murat Ahıska's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Birsel Ümit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ofspor SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GALATASARAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
