Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eyüp Denizer started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ciftehavuzlar's Ensar Serhad got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ciftehavuzlar's zone, Menderes Ahmetoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kemal Bürgehan came out of the goal and Menderes Ahmetoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sancar Orkuts short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Can Özbekkan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eyüp Denizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Çakabey Karacabey put in a rough tackle. 23 minutes into the game, one of Keciborlu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Can Özbekkan had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Ensar Serhad's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 26th minute, Özdemir Ayvaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sancar Orkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Can Özbekkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eyüp Denizer came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ciftehavuzlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eyüp Denizer couldn't finish the play. Menderes Ahmetoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kemal Bürgehan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eyüp Denizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Menderes Ahmetoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Menderes Ahmetoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kemal Bürgehan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Keciborlu's Baran Bilge Saygın got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sancar Orkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Keciborlu defense, Eyüp Denizer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Can Özbekkan. The Keciborlu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Can Özbekkan should have stopped the shot. After 70 played minutes Ciftehavuzlar got a freekick which was hit by Poyraz Akbudun. A collision led to Keciborlu getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Enver Kerimhan hit a great ball. Kemal Bürgehan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menderes Ahmetoğlu in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Menderes Ahmetoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Kemal Bürgehan. Ciftehavuzlar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Can Özbekkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eyüp Denizer's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Mehmet Emin Aydoğan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sancar Orkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Can Özbekkan having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
