Ertaç Ünalmış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Gömec SK got a freekick which was hit by Caner Uraza. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Kutluay Erakıncı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nazım Erdoğdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birol Yavuzalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mahsun Songur having to make a save. Gömec SK's Kutluay Erakıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Ertaç Ünalmış managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joker Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertaç Ünalmış was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Birol Yavuzalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahsun Songur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Baha Yalazay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gömec SK and the Joker Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Gencalp Tümerkin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes Joker Fc got a freekick which was hit by Gencalp Tümerkin. A collision led to Gömec SK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Başar Keskin hit a great ball. The Joker Fc manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gömec SK to win.
